Discount Suit Company is a hidden cocktail bar accessed through a former suit tailor's shop near Spitalfields Market, featuring bare-brick walls, intimate seating, and creaky stairs descending beneath a dusty curtain. Opened in 2014 at Wentworth Street in East London, the bar crafts classically inspired cocktails with unique techniques and ingredients—including kombu and tepache—served to a soundtrack of Northern Soul and vintage rock and roll. Regular DJ nights feature music spanning Northern Soul, Disco, and Funk, while the cosy speakeasy atmosphere and late-night weekend sessions running until 2 a.m. create an unpretentious yet sophisticated drinking experience.
