Double Deuce Lounge is a retro-inspired cocktail bar located beneath Bridge Street in Sydney's CBD, designed to celebrate 1970s cocktail culture through a funky '70s porn chic aesthetic. Named after the dive bar from the 1989 film Road House, the underground space features dark timber tones, red leather banquettes, a dark-brown furry kissing booth, and walls adorned with 1970s film and music icons. Bar Manager Ollie Churchill oversees a focused 10-drink cocktail list presented in a video cassette format, featuring creative revivals and modern interpretations of classics such as The Bambi Woods, which blends tequila, mezcal, passion fruit, and vanilla. The venue operates Thursday to Saturday from 4 p.m. to midnight, offering an immersive nostalgic experience for cocktail enthusiasts.
