ESQ is a prohibition-era New York-style speakeasy concealed on the second level of Sydney's iconic Queen Victoria Building, featuring moody luxury interiors with exposed brick, leather booths, and a backlit oak bar. The venue serves over 50 whiskies from around the world alongside classic hand-crafted cocktails and an extensive wine list. Live jazz music performs Wednesday to Friday evenings, whilst the kitchen helmed by Guillaume Dubois offers rich bistro classics ranging from French onion dip to steak with cognac cream, complemented by a 6 o'clock Swill happy hour with specialty martinis and negronis.
