Geist Bar

Geist is a charming bar and restaurant opened in early 2018 within a circa-1900 blacksmith shop in Germantown, offering an intimate, welcoming atmosphere with classic cocktails and internationally-influenced seasonal cuisine. The bar program, led by mixologists Freddy Schwenk and Matt Buttel of Nashville Ice Lab, features handcrafted cocktails including the Black Manhattan and Espresso Martini, alongside specialty drinks, mocktails, and craft beer. Nashville's only year-round champagne garden provides a distinctive setting, while happy hour runs Tuesday through Thursday from 5:00–6:30 pm with discounted cocktails, wine, beer, and appetizers.
