Jewel of the South is a temple to New Orleans culture and craft cocktails, housed in an immaculately restored 1835 Creole cottage in the French Quarter. The intimate venue pays tribute to the original Jewel of the South, a historic bar credited with serving gumbo and birthing the iconic Brandy Crusta cocktail. Co-founder Chris Hannah leads the bar's bespoke and classic cocktail program, while vintage musical fliers and portraits of Louisiana luminaries decorate the cozy rooms. The venue earned recognition as The Best Bar in South USA 2026 for a fourth consecutive year, with a food program featuring dishes like crawfish ravioli to complement the sophisticated drink offerings.
