Kodama Bar was Lyon's first cocktail bar specializing in Asian spirits, offering an exclusive menu of Japanese sake-based cocktails and Asian tapas. Located in the vibrant Croix-Rousse neighborhood in the 5th arrondissement, the bar captured the essence of Japanese culture with a modern twist. The establishment featured a seamless blend of sleek modern design infused with traditional Japanese elements—minimalist aesthetics accented with bamboo, paper lanterns, and serene artwork. The cocktail menu introduced guests to Japanese and Korean spirits including soju and lesser-known alcohols in France, with standout offerings like the Maguro cocktail featuring tuna and spicy mayo, alongside memorable onigiri.
